Rude Taxi Driver

I woke up late today and I need to cab to school.

The taxi driver was really rude~!

I wanted the taxi to just go straight after it entered NTU because the taxi had to go straight or i will never reach my destination. Thus, I said, "Uncle,你一直走直直。”

Know what is his reply??

OMG! He was darn rude!!!!

This was his reply!!!!

“小弟,去Changi也是一直走直直leh!!"

WTF!

Furthermore, it was in a really sarcastic tone!!!

Is he having his Monday blues~!!! What's wrong with my instructions!!

Anyway, I just feel like posting this photo. Hahhaa.

My attempt at an emo pic. Hahaha.

I seem to enjoy being alone these days~! Hahhaa.

Anyway, credits to YiLong for taking this photo for me.

Giving Up Of Seats

Reserved seating/priority seats are common sights on trains in developed countries. Being a first world country, the trains in Singapore definitely have reserved seating.

Actually, I always give up my seat for those who need it more than me. I think you can also give up your seat even if you are not sitting on the reserved seats. However, there are times when I am unsure if I should give up my seat! Hahaha.

1) Is He/She Old Enough

First, I am unsure if that uncle or auntie is consider old enough. Seriously, how old is old? Hahaha. I think someone in his/her 50s is still consider rather young. Usually, I only give up my seats to those who look really feeble. I am not trying to be mean but the retirement age is now set at more than 62. I cant be giving up my seat for someone who is deems fit and healthy to work by the government. Furthermore, some may find it an insult if they think they are not that old. Today, an auntie stood right in front of the reserved seat and starting staring at the guy who was sitting on the reserved seat. Complying to the immense pressure let out the eyes of the lady, the guy just offered his seat to her. I felt rather puzzled because that lady look like she is just in her 40s. She could be at the very most in her early 50s....I wont give up my seat for her. Hahha.

2) Pregnant or fat

Next, I am always unsure if the lady is fat or she is pregnant. Some ladies have thin limbs so when they have bulging tummies, i can easily see that they are pregnant. However, some are not really slim and it makes it hard for me to determine if she is pregnant or fat. I am sure you must have watched several sponsored variety shows of channel 8 by Expressions, Jean Yip or London Weight Management! Often, girls on these variety shows mentioned that they sink into depressions because many give up reserved seats to them thinking that they are pregnant! I don't wish to be a baddie!!!! Hahhaa. Therefore, I will choose the safest way if i am unsure and continue to sit on my seat.

Okay, i guess this summarizes my dilemmas when it comes to giving up of seats to the others. Hahhaa.

Just felt like blogging because of what i saw this evening. Hahhaa. I guess it's a break from the stress the comes from my mid term this friday!!!

Uni life is boring and tough. Tons of stuff to study.

Bye~!!!

Friends in Green

This afternoon, I was chatting about my army life with my classmates.

I find out that it's hard not to talk about army after being in it. Hahaha.

I chose this photo because I was from the batch that get to wear both types of uniforms. Hahaha.

I do agree that serving national service can be a waste of time but I am glad that I have completed it. Often, I listen to others talk about their experiences while giving their advices to me before I enlist. Now, it's my turn to talk about my experiences to my younger cousins before they enlist. Hahaha. I am also happy that I went through my 2 years of national service without "chao genging" except for a single day when I had live firing! Hahahaa. Lastly, I forged great friendships during my stay in the unit. I think our friendship is especially strong because we have been through hardships together. Even now, my army friends and I still talk about our outfields experiences! Ha. Oh yeah, i wont and cant forget my really dumb ps who always annoy me too! Hahaha.

A blury photo of my army friends and me.

Thanks for your gifts!! Hahaha.

Bye!

Wedding = Socialising

Went to my cousin wedding yesterday.

My cousin held her wedding at Meritus Mandarin Hotel.

This was my outfit for the wedding.

I think I need to grow some meat. Hahhaa. I look skinny.

I felt a little tired during the wedding as I had to do a lot of socialising. Hahaha. During the wedding, I had to put up a pretentious smile when talking to my uncles, aunties and cousins. Questions like when are you getting a girlfriend/boyfriend and when are you getting married are always posed to the younger generation. Perfect starters for conversations!!! Seriously, I am sure many of us are sick of answering these questions. However, we still have to reply our relatives with a smile because they are JUST being concerned. Hahaha. I am not really pissed off but this has already become the norm for all family gatherings. I dont always meet up with my relatives so I dont think it's okay for me to tell them about my relationships once I see them. I believe my relatives will probably think that I am mad if I suddenly start sharing all my problems with them yesterday. Nevertheless, I think I am rather close to some of my relatives.

However, I am not too sure what kind of questions can we ask during family gatherings. I got to admit that I ask lame questions like how is school and when are you enlisting too. Hahaha.

Okay okay. I guess I need get used to this since i am guilty of asking lame questions too. Hahhaa.

Anyway, I offically declare that I am too stupid for musical instruments.

Anyway, I should be studying but I am not!!!!

Bye!!
