POP lo!!!

I POP lo!!!

For those who don't understand what in the hell POP actually means!!! It means passing out parade!!!! Haha. I HAVE GRADUATED FROM THE BASIC MILITARY SCHOOL 2 OF PULUA TEKONG!!!

9 weeks of BMT really flies. On the day of enlistment, i could feel a sense of sorrow in the air!! 每个人的心中都似乎有着一种莫名的恐惧，因为我们都晓得接下来要面对的是件艰难又吃力不讨好的任务。But i am really glad that i made friends in BMT. I heard from many that BMT is the most memorable time of the army life. Hmmm...I cant say that for now since i haven even finish serving half of my freaking long army life, but i am sure life after BMT will be much much harder unless you are really that fucking lucky to be posted to such slack vocations. Haha!

On the day of enlistment, i had five of my family members coming to send me off.

My march to the much dreadful army life!!! I may be smiling really happily but deep in my heart, i was like, " FUck!!! This is going to be the end of me!!!" HAha...

But time really flies!! The very next moment, i was marching into Tekong parade square in my uniform.

This is because i really needed the much needed break from the exhausting army life then. Furthermore, i heard that some companies refuse to let their recruits book out for interviews during their confinement week. To add on, i actually got my way into Ntu through that particular interview. HAha..Plus plus, i think i really irk him off during field camp because i was taking a little too long to master some firing techniques. But he was really really really really kind and he didn even used a word of vulgarity on me despite me being such an idiot. HAha...

Even though he don't really like me bitching about others in front of him, but i cant stop bitching about others whenever we get the chance to speak. This is because there are quite a few in my bunk that i could trust. So sorry buddy!! HAHa...

And be positive, man!!! You won't be going to racky!!! Even if you do, just enjoy these few days of our holidays to the fullest because you may not get the chance to do so again!!!

Let's pray hard that you will be your CCI, and i will be going to some super slack vocation!!! Yay!!

I wonder to feel sad or happy

Friends, i did something really silly and stupid in the army and i will be confined for some of my weekends. I am really really displeased with myself for making the silly mistake.

I was in really really low spirits that night but the very next day, i received a msg that got me really thrilled.

Mum sent me a msg telling me that Ntu has approved for application for admission to NTu!!

THIS IS SUCH A MIRACLE!!

My results were really really bad. In case you don't know, i got CDE for my H2 subjects!

Anyway, i think that my published articles really saved the day. I got into Ntu through discretionary admission. Before this, i had an interview with the professers there and i am really glad that i pass them all my published articles. HAha.

Now, i really don't know if i shld feel happy or sad. Mixed emotions!!

After Confinement Week

Hello, everyone!! My confinement week is over! Haha.

Apparently, i have survived through 17 days in the army. After being in the army, i then realised that even watching an uninteresting tv programme can be a luxury! I cant tell you how army life is on my blog because i don't wish to risk being charged! Haha. If you wish to find out more about my army life, do give me a call. Haha.

Anyway, i don't know if i had spend my days wisely, but i am glad that i am able to meet up with my friends.

Unfortunately, you will not get to see photos of me being bald because i look fucking ugly without hair. HAha....

Yesh~!!! Yesh~!!! I know it's really pass-sey to watch this 2 drama serials now but they are seriously nice!! I don't know why but i was really emotional after that. Could it be due to the fact that i am going to the army in less than 5 days. HAha...

Seriously, i was really touched by the love between 五阿哥 and 小燕子. HAha...Okay!! I know that it's only a show. I KNOW!!! You don't have to remind me!!!!

Sorry for the boring entry but i have been rather emo after watching the drama.

Rule #1

The soln to clear skin gang went to catch Rule 1 since Melvin is going back to camp tomorrow. I am really glad that Melvin is not an officer because this means that we can still hang out during the weekends!!! YAy!!!

I think Rule 1 has a rather good plot. Fiona Xie is hot, so is Shawn Yue. Ekin CHeng is hmmm......HAha. But Fiona Xie's voice was dubbed and the dubbed voice was really really disgusting to listen.

Of course, we had to camwhore after the movie. HAHa...

No One Wants It

No one wants it!!! No one wants my Mas Selemat article. Darn shit!!!!

Mas Selemat is like a nuisance to the society!!! His escape has led to so much waste of money!!! If his escape could at least allow my article to be published once again, i could perhaps not be so annoyed with him!!!

But my article wasn even published. Darn Selemat lah!!!

Anyway, i chanced upon my compo which i wrote for my Sec 4 prelims!!!

OMG!!! This compo created a massive stir back then. This was because much to the dismay of all of my classmates, i came in second in the class with a score of 24/30.

Apparently, i was well known for my bad english. And to my horror, my English teacher actually
wanted me to aim for an A in my O levels. HAha

I am now going to write you my compo. HAha

'Jiayang, be quick, we are going to be late for Wendy's birthday party.' Simon called for me. I sped down the stairs. clad in my casual t-shirt, jeans and a pair of branded sneakers and replied, 'Yeah, I am ready!' Together, we headed for our desination.

On our way to Wendy's birthday party, my eyes twinled mishieviously as thoughts raced through my mind. ' Something naughty is going to happen at the birthday bash.' I thought, grinning from ear to ear. 'Jiayang!' Simon's voice jolted me out of my thoughts. As if reading my mind, he said, ' I hope you are not going to try anything funny today.' 'Not to worry, I will not do something to spoil such a joyous occassion,' I replied with my eyes sparkling with innocence.

In no time, we reached the venue of Wendy's birthday party. The prety was already buzzing with activitives and laughter filled the atmosphere. I caught sight of the honoured guest, Wendy. I went forward to wish her Happy Birthday and we embraced. All of a sudden, i was attracted to a voice that was calling out for me. Instinctively, i spun around and saw Jack. We greeted each other and chatted happily. ' Quick, try the food while it is hot!' Jack urged and i nodded my head without a moment's hesitation.

I munched thoughtfully on my food. 'Where should i placed this?' I murmured incoherently. Suddenly, an idea struck me. I moved to the birthday cake, opened the lid of the box and placed the object.

'Everyone, this is the moment that we are waiting for. The birthday cake pls,' Mary requested. Indeed, this was the moment that i had been awaiting for. Wendy opened the lid of the box and to my delight, my trick was a success. Wendy stared at the object in disbelief. She rubbed her eyes to check if she was seeing things. No....she was not!! A sharp, ear-splitting shriek escaped from her lips. ' A....a...lizard is on my cake!!' She cried.

Unable to control myself, i burst into gales of laughters. I even had my hand over my stomach, trying to lessen the pain lurching in my stomach. Simon narrowed his eyes and stared at me. 'Wendy, i didn't know that you will be so terrified of a lizard. Trust you to believe that it is alive, it is fake!' I exclaimed. 'How could you!' Wendy cried. Between a series of giggles, i apologised profusely. Fortunately, Wendy is a big hearted person and she forgive me. The party went on as usual and we all had fun.

HAha....Nice?? Jianrong found my essay really lousy then. HAha..He felt that it was a lousy plot. HAha...

Okay, it's time for a chinese poem. HAha...

I chanced upon this poem on 暧昧 which i really liked. I know that many of my readers will probably skip this entire part of chinese words, but pls try your very best to read it even though it's rather tough. Because this time, it's going to be in traditional CHinese!!! HAha

WOO~~!!! I waS really excited when i saw this!!!! If you have been a reader of my blog, you will know that i aspire to be a reporter. Having such a good chance, how could i let this chance off. 今天写这篇文章的目的是想述说我为什么最能胜任这个“访问张韶涵”的工作。首先，我觉得我的华语程度非常的不错。我在中学和高中时期，除了都是高级华文的学生之外，我也是裕廊初级学院中文学会的会长，任职期为两年。（2006-2007）。除此之外，我参加了HSK的汉语水平考试（中级），也获得了Grade A的成绩。（注∶最好的成绩为Grade A) 最后，我也参加了商务汉语考试。在读与听得部分获得了Level 4的成绩，说与写的部分则获得了Level 5的成绩。（注∶最好的成绩为Level5) 这证明了我具备成为记者的首要条件---语文程度要好。

而且，我一直以来都对娱乐记者这份工作很感兴趣。去年，我也参加了958城市频道所主办的《校园记者争霸赛》，也打入了半决赛。虽然，我不能赢得这场比赛，但这个比赛让我更肯定自己未来要从事记者的工作。

I know i may be a little exaggerating but i need to promote myself. Knowing that little knew about this event, i thought i stand a very very very good chance since little cheena poks are going to participate!!! I was really really really looking forward to this opportunity!!!

Before just the day before Angela Zhang is coming, i chanced upon a devastating news on Mediacorp's website. Actually, i didn chanced upon that news. I went to look for news on that reporter thingy because i did not receive any email from Mediacorp despite having only left just a day to the arrival of Angela Zhang.

To my horror,

Yesh!! This was just what it wrote.

Oh yeah, there was a competition for entry passes to Angela’s autograph session. So, there was this small little section: 持有签唱会通行证的朋友看过来

YEAH!!! THAT'S ALL!!!! ALLL!!!!!!

Is This a coincidence?

I am just one month away from my date of enlistment and the Singapore Armed Forces are having their recruitment ad in my blog. HAHa

I will start exercising from today because i don't wish to die in the army. HAha

Actually, i have wrote a letter to Wanbao. But unfortunately, i guess it will probably not be published. I think i shall just post it here coz i don't wish to waste my efforts for writing. Please finish reading the whole essay because it took my quite some time. HAha

从马士沙拉未的逃脱看新加坡的国防

回教祈祷团头目马士沙拉未的逃脱已经进入了第七天。国防部也出动了军警，辜加警察和军方的搜查人员进行全面的地毯式的搜查，不放过任何的蛛丝马迹。不仅如此，许多名众也提出了悬金，希望能过激起其他国人留意马士沙拉未的行踪。这几天，国人可说是全民一心，捕“马”行动刻不容缓。

看到国防部全力出击，我当然感到很欣慰。但是，我想很多的公众就和我一样，十分不理解马士沙拉未何能逃离拘留中心。毕竟，拘留中心戒备森严，又有辜加警察看守，到处更可见武装的警卫。马士沙拉未未可说是插翅也难飞。他的逃离确实令人不解。这起事件让我对我们的国防部队似乎有些失望。

先不说马士沙拉未了。他毕竟曾在阿富汗接受过军事训练。或许，这也是为何他能轻易地逃离拘留所。但不久前，阿豪（黄娜事件中的主角）不也轻松的离境，这也太令人大感匪夷所思了吧。阿豪手无寸铁，也从未接受过任何的训练，竟也能徒步地走出新加坡，这是否说明了我们的国防部有着很严重的疏漏呢。试想想，这是否说明了恐怖份子们也能不费吹灰之力的入境呢？

我觉得我们的国防部队要肩负起很重的负担。因为，全新加坡人的安危都落在了国防部的手中了。我希望这起“马士沙拉未”事件能够激起有关当局的深思。或许有些人会认为我杞人忧天，但我觉得未雨绸缪才是防患未然的主要关键。

ACtually, i don't mind them coming into our country if they only make up a minority of our population. But the problem now is THERE ARE SIMPLE TOO MANY PRCS!!!!

YOu see them everywhere!!! EVERYWHERE!!!! MArkets, MRT(ESP BOON LAY), SCHools, Your HDB, On buses...OMG!!! You can spot them EVERYWHERE!!!!

Personally, i think it's a dilution of culture. I want my Singlish instead of some accented CHinese. HAHa....Oh yeah, they love to speak loudly.

I think PRCS should all 入乡随俗!!! Seriously, if you can speak like 汤灵伊, i believe that the discrimination will be much much much lesser.

Okay, enought on the topic of PRCS!

Tomorrow, we are all going to receive our results!!! AHHHH!!!!!!

On New Year's Eve, we went Melvin's house to celebrate his birthday for him. Apparently, his birthday was the day before New Year's Eve. Heard that he was rather sad to celebrate his birthday in camp.

I think it was really thoughtful of us to give him a surprise. First, we lied to him that we were just heading to his house for some chit chat sessions. But when he headed for the bathroom, we fished out the cake from the fridge immediately!! HAHa

Anyway, i am now going to tell you more about my funny encounters. It's fine if you find them lame. HAha

Not too long ago, i was all discussing where i will love to tour with my friends.

Jr suddenly said, "Actually, from the countries that we wish to visit, you can actually know a person's character. For example, Paris=Romantic and etc."

Being curious, i asked, " Then Taiwan leh? What if i want to go to taiwan?"

You know what Jr said! He said,

HAHAHa...Fine~. I admit that i am cheena.

Today, i called a tour agency to enquire more about their tour packages.

YEsh!!! I am most probably going on a tour to Bintan with some of my friends!! But this is not the main point.

Being effectively bilingual, i spoke in English.

We chated for around 5 minutes. Towards the end of the conversation, she asked,

"So what is your nationality?!?!"

OMG!!! Was my english that broken!!!! Did i speak with a Chinese accent?!?! Darn!!! She must have thought that i was some China man who is trying to cheat the agency of their money. HAHa

Okay, i do admit that i spoke in really bad English. Gosh!!! But I cant help it. Bad English just comes naturally to me!!! HAha

Friends, speak to me in English!!! I need to improve my English!!
